Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Booking & Advisory Services provided by Gateways of Europe Ltd. By making a booking through us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.

1. What We Provide To You

  1. We provide Booking & Advisory Services that enable you to acquire travel products from Third Party Travel Providers.
  2. By using our services, you confirm that you have read and understood both our terms and the terms of the relevant Third Party Travel Provider.
  3. You pay us for providing Booking & Advisory Services.
  4. All services are sold in GBP, EUR, USD or CHF and quoted prices include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.

2. Third Party Travel Providers

  1. Travel Products are supplied directly by Third Party Travel Providers.
  2. Their individual terms, restrictions, cancellation policies and liability limitations apply.
  3. You are responsible for reviewing those terms before confirming any booking.
  4. Payment for the Travel Product is made to the Third Party Travel Provider.
  5. Gateways of Europe does not provide the Travel Product itself and does not act as your agent when obtaining refunds from suppliers.

3. Our Liability

  1. We are responsible for delivering our Booking & Advisory Services with reasonable care and skill.
  2. Except where required by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental or economic losses arising from:
    • Use of our services
    • Service interruptions
    • Delivery or non-delivery of Travel Products
    • Acts or omissions of Third Party Travel Providers
  3. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights granted under applicable consumer protection laws.
  4. Information regarding hotels, airlines, transport providers and other suppliers is provided by those suppliers and we do not guarantee its accuracy.

4. Travel Provider Liability

  1. As agent for suppliers, we are not liable for a supplier's failure to provide a Travel Product.
  2. The Third Party Travel Provider remains responsible for fulfilling all obligations relating to the Travel Product.

5. Booking & Payment Terms

  1. All Travel Products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or modified without notice.
  2. Traveller names must exactly match passports or official identification documents.
  3. We are not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect traveller information.
  4. Travel Product prices are not guaranteed until full payment has been received.
  5. You should reconfirm departure schedules directly with suppliers prior to travel.
  6. Foreign currency transactions may be subject to exchange or conversion fees imposed by your financial institution.

6. Price Changes & Itinerary Changes

  1. Prices may increase due to changes in taxes, fees, surcharges or government-imposed charges.
  2. If supplier schedule changes, overbookings or operational changes occur, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.
  3. If a change materially affects your booking, you may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund subject to supplier and administration fees.

7. Refund Policy

  1. Booking & Advisory Service fees are generally non-refundable once services have been provided.
  2. Refunds for Travel Products remain subject to supplier policies.
  3. Where a supplier authorises a refund, any applicable cancellation or administration charges may be deducted.

8. Cancellation & Amendments

Cancellation Charges

  • Before final payment: Deposit is non-refundable.
  • After final payment and more than 30 days before departure: Deposit plus any supplier cancellation charges apply.
  • Within 30 days of departure or during travel: No refund applies.

Amendments

  • An amendment fee of GBP 50 per person per booking may apply.
  • Suppliers may impose additional amendment charges.
  • Many suppliers treat name changes or itinerary modifications as a full cancellation and rebooking.

9. Customer Obligations

  1. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.
  2. You agree that all information supplied is accurate and up to date.
  3. You are responsible for obtaining suitable travel insurance.
  4. You agree not to misuse our Booking & Advisory Services.
  5. You agree to indemnify Gateways of Europe against claims arising from misuse of our services.

10. Privacy

Your personal information may be collected, stored and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

Definitions

Gateways of Europe Ltd – Company Number 10124208.

You – Any person acquiring Booking & Advisory Services or Travel Products.

Booking & Advisory Services – Consultation, planning and booking support provided by Gateways of Europe.

Third Party Travel Provider – Any hotel, airline, transport operator or supplier providing Travel Products.

Travel Product – Accommodation, transport, tours, activities or any travel-related service supplied by a Third Party Travel Provider.
